Biography
Lesley Turmelle Abbott is a practicing attorney with offices located in Satellite Beach and Orlando. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Brevard County Bar Association, and she is also admitted to practice in federal courts and Middle District of Florida courts.
Born into an Air Force family, Ms. Abbott has lived all over the country. Her father was in the Air Force, and her step-father was in the Merchant Marines. She was lucky enough to spend the latter part of her childhood here in Brevard County. Ms. Abbott attended Satellite High School, Brevard Community College and the University of Central Florida.
Ms. Abbott attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, and received her Juris Doctor with a concentration in litigation.
After graduating with her Juris Doctor, Ms. Abbott worked in Waycross, Georgia, as the judicial clerk for Judge Bount, the Chief Judge for five counties in the southern coastal Georgia area. Upon completing her Clerkship, Ms. Abbott returned home to Brevard County, Florida.
Working closely with her clients, Lesley Turmelle Abbott prides herself on developing a relationship with each one, along with an aggressive approach to exceed each client's goals and expectations.
