Attorney
Lesley Turmelle Abbott is a practicing attorney with
offices located in Melbourne, Florida. She is a member
of the Florida Bar Association and the Brevard Bar
Association. Her primary areas of practice are
dependency, family law, child custody, paternity and
estate planning.
Previously, Ms. Abbott clerked for
two judges: Michael F. Skinner in Charlotte, Mich. and
Clarence D. Blount in Waycross, Ga., who presided over
five counties.
Working closely with her clients,
Ms. Abbott prides herself on developing a relationship
with her clients, as well as an aggressive approach to
exceed each client's goals.

Personal Background
Born into an Air Force family on July 21, 1975 in
California, Lesley Abbott attended elementary school, junior
high and high school in Brevard County. She lived in
Satellite Beach, attended Brevard Community College and
later the University of Central Florida. Lesley remained in
coastal Brevard County until 2001. She attended Thomas M.
Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich. and received her J.D.
degree with a concentration in litigation. Moving back to
the Space Coast in 2004, Lesley currently lives in Viera,
maintains an office in Melbourne, and practices law in all
Brevard County courts. |
